Review by Tony Cannella
From Italy comes the Deathcore band Mechanical God Creation. Their debut “Cell XIII” is out now and it features 40-minutes worth of brutal and aggressive music. The opening track “MTBF” storm out of the gate and immediately the listener is punched in the face with a barrage of heavy riffs and the extreme vocals of Lucy. The next track, “Project Kill” offers no respite as the band just blasts through this one. Lead vocalist Lucy is sure to remind some listeners of Angela Gossow and the musicians provide plenty of technical precision to go along with ferocity of the music. The next three tracks, “2012”, “Process of Mental Killings” and “I Shall Remain Unforgiven” continues the vicious direction of “Cell XIII”. Other high points to look out for are: “Divinity”, “Trespass and Kill” and “Death Business”. Mechanical God Creation will surely not appeal to everyone but fans who love aggressive and brutal music are required to check out “Cell XIII”.
