Finally after the top review that Greek Melodic Death Metal band Seduce The Heaven has received for its debut “Field of Dreams” here on FMW, it’s time to propose you this nice interview with their singer Elina LaiveraElina Laivera Official]. Elina, talking about the debut is quite proud of the Japanese deal achieved with Spinning Records ‘cause it “is a huge market”. Well, in a way we must thank Sir Russell Allen from Symphony X if Elina sings in a metal band because, as she states : ” So, I realized it is not about metal or classical music, it is not about the genre but about the art. So I swore to myself, I would from now on only serve like this the art I love the most”. As the vocalists unveils that she designs stage clothings -“but for personal use only”- although Elina loves corsets, admits that “on stage, there are practical issues like breathing, being able to bend and stretch etc. So no, I avoid corsets on stage”.

UK Progressive Metal Master To-Mera on 2012 via its own imprint Illusionary Records has published the third album “Exile”, so we took the challenge to ask some question to the founder and lead vocalist Julia Kiss (now in MacLean). When enquired about the most challenging task during the recording session, Julia confesses : “We recorded all the vocals ourselves, so it was very different.[…]But it’s also easy to obsess about tiny details and take 5x as long as necessary!”. About the split with Candlelight Records, the Hungarian singer said that “It was the result of a number of factors really, mainly the fact that we just wanted to do our own thing musically – without the pressure of a sales focused entity behind us”. Instead candidly Julia admits that won’t be touring for this album, ‘cause “we recently lost our drummer Paul and due to the fact that “the band members just got other priorities, other projects to focus on”. As for To-Mera’s future nothing is clear considering what Julia declared in the following words : “I think we also feel that we’ve said what we wanted to say with this album and perhaps it’s time to take a break “.

Sorry, pals, but if you are searching for some operatic stuff you’re in the wrong place - what WildeStarr lead singer London Wilde propose is “straight for the jugular, full on metal, more akin to the likes of Rob Halford, Ripper Owens or Ronnie James Dio” stuff.. in few words some good damn power/heavy metal. Taking inspiration from Edgar Allan Poe’s works, “A Tell Tale Heart” is an utterly impressive” album that features, on the double duty of guitarist and bassist, former Vicious Rumors member Dave Starr that impresses with “his riffs that are huge and heavy as hell” and the latest addition of the drummer Josh Foster. Enjoy this tale @ (via WildeStarr – “A Tell Tale Heart” (2012) « Femme Metal Webzine)

Every time that the Swedish Heavy metallers heroes Sister Sin Official releases a new album they never miss a hit. We’re talking about their fourth album “Now and Forever” out via Victory Records that according to Tony is “possibly their most raw, in-your-face and aggressive album to date”. You love belligerent, straight-in-your-face vocals and an attitude à la Motorhead? Make yours this album but before stop by to read this ace review (RATED 93 out of 100) @  (via Sister Sin – “Now and Forever” (2012) « Femme Metal Webzine)

What we present here is the debut of the Polish Power metal band Access Denied called “Touch of Evil” out via Pitch Black Records, as Tony explained us you should “cross Judas Priest with Accept along with some classic Iron Maiden thrown in for good measure” and this are the main band coordinates/influences. This release was rated 86 out of 100 and as the review states “should be required listening for fans of the genre”. So you are into Power Metal or you love the aforementioned bands?  In occasion of their upcoming European tour with Stratovarius and Amaranthe, Alessandra interviewed for us Sabrina Valentine, frontwoman of the US power metal band Seven Kingdoms. This time, Sabrina opened her heart about the band’s passion for George R.R. Martin “Games of Thrones” saga (she likes Tyrion too, good choice girl!) and the big Eve’s Apple event held during the MFVF X. But she expresses also the difficulty to being a woman in the music business and about this matter she says: “One thing that does suck about being a Female in music (no matter what style) is that the visual perception has been warped due to the media.” So, are you ready for the war?
