Finally after the top review that Greek Melodic Death Metal band Seduce The Heaven has received for its debut “Field of Dreams” here on FMW, it’s time to propose you this nice interview with their singer Elina LaiveraElina Laivera Official]. Elina, talking about the debut is quite proud of the Japanese deal achieved with Spinning Records ‘cause it “is a huge market”. Well, in a way we must thank Sir Russell Allen from Symphony X if Elina sings in a metal band because, as she states : ” So, I realized it is not about metal or classical music, it is not about the genre but about the art. So I swore to myself, I would from now on only serve like this the art I love the most”. As the vocalists unveils that she designs stage clothings -“but for personal use only”- although Elina loves corsets, admits that “on stage, there are practical issues like breathing, being able to bend and stretch etc. So no, I avoid corsets on stage”.

Well, we can use only Tony’s words for describeTatiana’s Niovi “Breath of Light” debut album : “beautiful, passionate, full of heart and cinematic”. But let’s do a step back and present a little the band - “they hail from Greece” and tag their music Melodic Symphonic Rock & Soundtrack Music, it is fronted by the lead vocalist Tatiana Manolidou that according to our reviewer : [she] “has a tremendously expressive and diverse voice”. (@hereticsdream) We have already talked yesterday about Italian/UK Gothic Progressive Metal band Heretic’s Dreamwith their “The Unexpected Move” debut album. Now, after some line up changes, the band is back with a single that according to Tony might be “the ground work for what could become a successful second album”. In fact we can perceive an improvement throughout their sound and as Tony states [“Chains of Bloods”] “represents a progression in the right direction”

German Melodic Power Metal band Dawn of Destiny is back after 3 years of (musical) silence with their fourth album called “Praying to the World” and the brand “new vocalist Jeanette Scherff that replaces Tanja Maul. Although Jeanette’s vocal style is quite different from the old singer, Tony for “any doubters” advices to listen to the song “Misunderstood” because Jeanette delivers an “amazing performance on this song” with a nice background of “tempo changes, orchestration, some great duel vocals and an awesome guitar solo”. We would like to remember also that “Praying to the World” is out in 2 different edition : the regular and “the limited edition” that “features 2-bonus tracks” in addition to the 13 songs that are present in the other edition. In conclusion, Tony states :Dawn of Destiny has definitely released an ambitious album that should hopefully gain the attention of the power metal faithful”

And here we have another nice discovery from Italy, we’re talking about Circle Of Moebius debut EP “Elegy for a Broken Life” that currently in its ranks features the “two exceptional female singers” called Laura Prosperi and Eleonora Serafini. What Circle of Moebius is simply offering are “7-songs 31-minutes of conceptual metal à la Queensryche. Despite Queensryche are “also counted among their influences are Pink Floyd and Queen. According to Tony “Circle of Moebius has given us a worthwhile addition to the progressive metal genre”

Calling out all the doomsters out there ‘cause if you love doom metal you have not to miss this release by this Aussie band. “Come, Taste the Doom” is the second album byRituals of the Oak and feature in its line up “the Lebanese singer Sabine Hamad (former Kimaera singer)”. What you have to expect for this platter is “slow paced, guitars tuned down and vocals almost spoken” so you don’t expect any musical contamination with the gothic side of the doom ‘cause as Luisa states “the doom played by Rituals of the Oak is quite classic”.
