While we wait to REVIEW her latest album “The Underliving” we propose you the debut album “Ancient Shadows – The Ghost and the Fairy” by Spanish Dark Ethereal Ambient artist (she’s also a gothic illustrator) Priscilla Hernandez. A true deal if you love fairy-ish and magic atmospheres - just read a few lines from Luisa’s review : “Her sweet vocals play on electronic and piano soundscapes, creating a relaxing, chilling atmosphere. Some melancholia may appear here and there as in “Ancient Shadow” or “I Steal the Leaves” which is my personal favorite on the album”. Do you fancy some ambient music? Check this TOP REVIEW (rated 90 OUT OF 100) in the link below

Are you a nostalgic of the late 90’s gothic metal bands like TOT and Tristania? Well, EVOLVENT OFFICIAL ”Delusion” (out in 2011 via Bernett Records) is what you are searching for. Although, the Franch Gothic Doom metal band has recently faced some line up problems (see Johanna Manto and Marc Canlers’ departures), the Franchies have released a platter of an excellent quality. You don’t believe me? Just read some words from our reviewer Luisa: “It was since a long time I did not stumble upon such a good and quality release in the female fronted scene, at least the more gothic oriented. There is nothing new in the way it is composed, sung or played but all of the above it is done very well and you can feel the emotions”.

We have interviewed, not so much time ago, their singer Olga Salikhova and today we have blogged about their upcoming new album, I think the only thing that was missing was the review of their fourth album “Songs of Black Roses” by Russian Gothic Doom metallers Voiceless Void that for the truth, it didn’t fully satisfied Luisa because is “nicely played but something is missing. That idea that makes you say: “this is actually very good!””. Are you a uber-super gothic doom metal fan? If yes, is totally suitable for you. Read the whole review in the link below

Montreal based Progressive Gothic metal band AraPacis with the 3rd album “Netherworld” out via Ravenheart Music, offers a platter full of different musical influences like doom à la Candlemass and hard rock. In addition to this, lead vocalist Lizzie Fyre not only uses her clean vocal technique but also, in a few songs, an extreme style. Tony has just stated that AraPacis are “fast becoming one of the best bands out of the Canadian metal scene.”, so what are you expecting for? For what I get UK gothic metal band Apparition has again tornado-ed its line up but this doesn’t matter really ‘cause when a band releases a top album this fact needs the complete attention: are really rare the case that a reviewer calls THE “album of their career” and this is the moment. Apparition’s “For Vengeance… and for Love” out on Mëtal Compass for Tony is THE album of their career. I don’t want to spoil the whole review but if this album was rated 91 out 100, it’s a good reason to reading it. More @ (via Apparition – “For Vengeance… And for Love” (2012) « Femme Metal Webzine)
