Previously known for being the partner in crime (both in public and private life) of Blur’s Damien Rice, after seven years “the singer decided to start her own solo career and” in 2008 she’s released “Sea Sew”. “Passengers”, her follow up, although “it is a classic record, there is no very much innovation, it shows how emotional Lisa can be and her elegance in choosing arrangements”. Waiting for the next album we simply recommend this “soulful record for your quieter moments”.

And here are again in front of a new release, by the way it’s the number 3, by the Norwegian AOR rock diva Isabell Oversveen AKA Issa that this time she has chosen “to go in a different direction” ‘cause ““Can’t Stop” is an album made up cover songs”. No guys, it’s not the usual tribute album were you can find the well know AOR hits but this time Ms.Oversveen has decided to “tackled some little known goodies by the likes of 21 Guns, Tangier, Aviator and Marcy (formerly Marc) Free”. So real memorabilia material, only for the true connoisseur of the genre. Although “these songs are pretty obscure” ““Can’t Stop” seems fresh” and “is further confirmation of this talented ladies appeal”.

Calling out to all the prog fans here - UK Progressive mastermind Clive Nolan has just finished to record to the new double album of the Alchemy the Musical that will be released on March and will be preceded by the world premiere of “Alchemy” show at the famous Wyspianski Theatre in Katowice, Poland on February 22, 2013, where it will be recorded for the purposes of a DVD to be released by Metal Mind Productions later next year. “Alchemy” is a Victorian adventure set in 1842 and will features artists like including Tracy Hitchings (Landmarq, Strangers on a Train), Andy Sears (Twelfth Night), Paul Manzi (Arena), Damian Wilson (Threshold), Paul Menel (ex-IQ), David Clifford (Red Jasper) as well as the leading lady of Nolan‘s previous musical ‘SHE’, Agnieszka Świta.
